Healing and Refreshing Place - TAMAN PECAMPUHAN SALA TEMPLE

Bali has a lot of tourists destination, not only the beaches but there are also spiritual destination called “melukat”. Melukat is just one of Balis’s magical rituals which involves using water as a ritual cleanser. The aims are to cleanse both body and soul, to refresh the spirit and dissolve away any negative influences. One of the famous places to Melukat is TirtaEmpul Temple. But actually, in the other place beside TirtaEmpul there are also melukat place such as in Bangli Regency, where the most popular spot here is PancoranTirtaSudamala, located in Bebalang village and this place is quite popular. And now there is one more place for melukatin Bangli that is quite viral on social media called Taman Pecampuhan Sala Temple. This place has been existed for a long time, but it was only popularized by visitors who had been melukat here.

Taman Pecampuhan Sala Temple, the place to dive in Bali is in the form of Bejiwhich is located under the "Pura Taman", while "Pecampuhan" is a meeting between the streams of two rivers, while "Sala" is the name of the place where the temple is located. The location ofthis temple is in Banjar Sala, Abuan Village, Susut District, Bangli Regency. It is about 4.5 km west of Bangli, while the distance from Denpasar is around 40 km, and the distance from PancoranTirtaSudamala site is about 7.5 km.

To reach this place, you need to walk down the stairs, about 100 meters from the highway, although there is no adequate parking, you can park on the roadside and it is safe. The villagers are very friendly, if you feel lost looking for Banjar Sala, everyone willbe directing you until you find this place, or you can simply use the Google Maps applications. 

Everymelukat place in Bali has its own properties, with full confidence, and sincere devotion, your desired will bring good for yourselves and also your families. For the diving site it is located just below the Pura Taman, there are 9 pieces of pancoran (looks like waterfall), divided into two separate places. The first part of the top is 7 pieces of pancoran, with the height of the castings reaching 3 meters in this place, a pool of 1-meter high. 
Then 2 pieces of pancoran are located at the bottom of the river bank. Beside from the holy water flowing from the 9 pieces of the pancoran, the other place of melukatis on the river which is a meeting place of two rivers (campuhan). The two sources of river flow are called GrojoganPesiraman Tan Hana and GrojoganPesiramanDedari in the left river flow there is one morepancoran where the visitors melukat. The water flowing in each river is very clear, so it can make heart and mind feel relax.
In addition,Pura Taman Pecampuhan Sala is believed has benefits such as Tirta Pule for treatment, TirtaPandan for Bala repellent, TirtaBungbung for economic smoothness and TirtaTulakWalo for family harmonization such as strengthen the relationship between husband and wife. When there is a big holiday or holy days of Hindus like Banyupinaruh (one day after Saraswati), Purnama, Tilem and Kajeng Kliwon, a lot of Hindus come to this place formelukat.

            Interestingly in the place where the Pura Taman Pecampuhan is located, on each river there is a waterfall, access to the location is a little bit challenging but not too difficult. The view of the waterfall is very interesting and exotic, flanked by rock cliffs that beautify the waterfall.


The clear flowing water is also ideal for bathing, cleansing your body and soul, feeling fresh and super relax, plus the surrounding natural beauty make it more perfect because it’s green and very convenience.
