Kutuh village , sub-disrict of south kuta, Badung regency has a tourist charms which have a not been widely know. A direct hills overlooking the Indian Ocean called Gunung Payung Beach. Gunung payung beach, otherwise referrd to locally as gunung payung beach

Is one of the ‘HIDDEN BEACHES’ on Bali southern coast .The location takes it’s name from a Balinese Hindu Temple complex of the same name (Pura Dhang Khayangan Gunung Payung). Gunung Payung Beach is located in Adat Kutuh Village, South Kuta District, Badung Regency, Bali. The beach is about 30 km south of Denpasar. If you are in Nusa Dua, you only need 15 minutes to reach the beach, while if you are in Ngurah Rai Airport, it will take 20 minutes to the beach. From the top of the hill you can see the white sands beachs and crystal clear sea water while feeling the cool water around. gunung payung beach have a soft texture white sand, blue sea water graded green and there so were not many visitors know this beach.

To reach the beach is very eay because the road reach the beach is alreay repaied, and there is a big project restaurant and hotel . the path to the beach its made very beutiful and easly accessbile by splitting limestone clifffs.

Before reaching the beach you have to pass through several steps, fom the top looks very beautiful beaches. Gunung Payung Beach is located behind a hillside, of course access to the beach lips takes more time and sacrifice. Because your vehicle is either a car or a motorbike that can't directly go to the beach, when you get to the parking lot you have to walk up the road that has been provided for access to the beach then start climbing the steps down about 195 stairs (no more than 200 steps), actually not so far but because the stairs are rather steep down, it feels a bit tiring, It took about 5-7 minutes to go down the stairs.

The best time visit this beach is the hours 14.00 to 17.00 Pm, and the best time to see the sunset and the sun is not too hot. You will see the beauty of the sun and this beach is very safe for all ages, beacuse the calm waves on the beach. So Many activities you can do there  such as surfing, sunbathing, beach hopping or yoga and take a sefie  can be done in the beach. If you want to surf, there are many surfing rental offering snowboard to you. However, the most exciting activity is visiting the temple on top of the hills surrounding the beach. Although it takes some efforts to reach the temple, you will not regret it. To reach the temple, you have to walk through many stairs. The number of the stair is about 450 steps. It surely takes efforts to reach the temple. But once you have reached the temple, you will soon be able to see a magnificent panorama below. You can see the beaach which is so wide that it were as if touching the horizon. That is so amazing and gunung payung have a new stage for watching traditional kecak that is kecak dannce so you can see the sunset with a beautiful dance. For the tiket parking only Rp 5.000 rupiahs so many restourant local at gunung payung.
