Taman Hutan Raya
Ir. H. Djuanda is a conservation area that is integrated between secondary
nature with plantations located in the city of Bandung, Indonesia. The area
reaches 590 hectares stretching from the Dago Pakar area to Maribaya.
Location of the
Forest Park in Ir. H. Djuanda is in Kampung Pakar, Ciburial Village, Cimenyan
District, at an altitude of between 770 masl to 1330 masl. On top of its
fertile land there are around 2500 types of plants consisting of 40 families
and 112 species. In 1965 only about 10 ha of the new forest park, but now it
has reached 590 ha stretching from the Pakar area to Maribaya. Currently the
management is carried out by the Forestry Service of the Regional Government of
West Java Province (previously under the auspices of Perum Perhutani).

or Tahura Ir. H. Djuanda and often abbreviated as THR Djuanda:

Can
be visited every day.
·
The
time is between 08.00-18.00.
·
Each
visitor is charged an entrance fee of Rp. 12,000,-
·
To
explore the entire forest it takes around 2-3 hours
·
Can
be reached via Jalan Dago or through Jalan Cikutra. All types of vehicles can
enter the main gate. When using City Transportation public vehicles only until
Dago Terminal, then the trip is continued with other public vehicles in Unisba
Campus and stop at Kordon. From the Kordon the journey continues by walking 500
m.

Access
from the North, through Maribaya-Lembang Tourism Object. From this gate you can
see the attractions of Curug Omas and then the journey continues by walking
along the path along the 6 km to Pakar Dago
This area is
usually quite crowded on weekends, especially Sunday mornings when many people
come to recreation just to enjoy the atmosphere or cross-country sports with
the 6 kilometer Tahura-Maribaya route. This distance can usually be reached on
foot about 2-3 hours (depending on conditions). Certainly walking through the
Forest Park in Ir. H. Djuanda is very fun because besides the beauty of the
environment, it also provides freshness because the air is relatively clean.
