ali is famous island in the world because it is has many tourist attraction especially for the nature destination like the beach, waterfall, mountain and others. But not all of the beautiful place in Bali is become the tourist attraction because some beautiful place it is hidden from the home residents and located in quite place. And one of them is the hidden beauty nature that located in Br. Srinadi, Punggul village. Punggul village is quite and traditional place that one part of Abiansemal subdistrict, Badung regency. But now Punggul village is become modern village because few month ago Punggul village was give the award as the digital village. Beside that, in Punggul village there are the hidden beauty nature that can make the village more popular with the beautiful nature of Beji Griya Waterfall. The location is very easy to get there by all kind of transportation and the way is direction to Sangeh Monkey Forest and near from many popular tourist attraction in Bali like Ubud, Tegalalang terrace, Goa Gajah and others, so you can take the tour package about it.  

From parking area you just need to walk down some stairs it’s about 50 meters and you will find the green ricefield view with terrace before you see the Beji Griya waterfall. Beji Griya Waterfall is beautiful place to refresh your mind from the crowded place in the city with the fresh and cool air and the green ricefield terrace view arround the waterfall. The high of Beji Griya Waterfall is only 12 meters and  the flow of the waterfall is touching the wall rocks so that the sound of the falling water is not so hard but it’s look beautiful cause the water falls strewn on the rocks. Actually Beji Griya Waterfall is the beji or bathing place of the Griya Manuaba people to do the Balinese ritual it’s call melukat (bathing with holy water). The Balinese people trust that melukat can neutralise all forms of  the diseases in the body even it’s sekala (real diseases) or niskala (not real diseases). The interested one is when you melukat in the waterfall you must to shouted as loud as you can as the ritual of the melukat to remove the negativity in yourself. Not only waterfall there are also Taman Beji Griya Gede Manuaba temple where it is the place do the melasti ritual and pitra yadnya ritual of the people in Punggul village.

If you visit Beji Griya Waterfall you also can enjoy the view of the secret hidden canyon that located in Beji Griya Waterfall area, it is call Pancoran Goa Kerab Langit. If you want to see the beauty of the hidden canyon you need to entering the gap or narrow passage like a cave. Entering the narrow valley where it’s flanked by high cliffs,  you will be greeted with amazing view by the splash of a waterfall as high as 15 meters. And in the middle of the hidden canyon you can see the natural beauty of the waterfall, if entering more into up to 20 meters into the valley you can find the center of the eye water as a place to melukat in the Beji Griya it’s call pancoran and there are two pancoran with the holy water for melukat, it is the one important point place of the melukat ritual in Beji Griya.

After melukat in the hidden canyon and the waterfall the Hindusm people will pray in the Ratu Niang Sakti Statue and take the holy water to drink and scoop the face in Lingga Yoni statue. The uniqueness is the holy water directly come from the bottom of the Lingga Yoni statue. So in this place you can do many activity such as enjoying the waterfall, ricefield terrace view, seeing the hidden canyon, do the Balinese ritual or melukat and don’t forget to take some picture in the all of the beautiful object in Beji Griya waterfall.
