CAU CHOCOLATES FACTORY AND AGROTOURISM

Cau Chocolates Factory and Agrotourism was founded by I Wayan Alit Artha Wiguna. The place holds cocoa from farmers to process it into chocolate powder. The man who became an instructor at the Agricultural Technology Research Institute (BPTP) of Bali Province founded Cau Chocolates in July 2016. Cau Chocolates is a company dedicated to improving farmers' welfare, Cau Chocolate buying agricultural products, especially cocoa is more expensive than market prices, this is intended to Cocoa farmers want to improve the quality and quantity of their products. Cau Chocolates stands on an area of 10,000 m2 which consists of restaurants, chocolate workshops, rice fields and chocolate gardens, where chocolate can get to know agriculture more closely, both agriculture (rice) and cocoa which are processed into chocolate ready for consumption. Cau Chocolates is located on Jl. Raya Marga-Apuan, Cau, Marga, Tabanan Regency, Bali, Indonesia.
Access to Cau Chocolates Bali can be via the Denpasar - Bedugul Highway. Access to this place is very easy to reach because the road is already smooth. Enter from the direction of Denpasar Highway from Badung Police Station to the north for about 5 kilometers to meet the T-junction gas station in the direction of Margarana then to the west past Jalan Wisnu to meet the intersection, then turn right past Jalan Wisnu Marga, if you have seen the traditional Marga market then meet T-junction with a statue of a soldier in the center, then turn left around 200 meters to meet the T-junction again, then turn right towards the north across Jalan Raya Marga Apuan, follow the road to enter the Banjar Petiga area, and pass the signpost Welcome to Cau Tua Village, after that we will see two gates on the side of the road, after the gate, the location of Cau Chocolates Bali is marked with a statue of two chocolates in front of it. The length of the trip to reach the location of Cau Chocolates is about 1 hour 15 minutes. Cau Chocolates provide several facilities for visitors, namely:
a. Chocolate factory
b. Chocolate garden
c. Chocolate shop
d. Restaurant
e. Cocoa farm tracking
f. Field for outbound

When visiting Cau Chocolates, you will not be charged for the entrance ticket. But a fee is needed to pay for the activity program that we choose. The price per activity starts from 100K-500K. This tour will guide you in an exploration of Cau Village, and Factory Tour. Walk the rice fields & learn about tradition irrigation, and visit our organic cocoa farm. There are several program activities that you can do in Cau Chocolates, namely:
a. Chocolate Tour and Making Chocolate, in this activity you will learn about experience about to bar chocolate (from raw to bar chocolate), and making chocolate souvenir.
b. Traditional Bali Life, in this activity you will do the cocoa farm tracking, rice plantation, plowing by the cow, and feeding animal (cow).
c. Chocolate Experience, in this activity you will do the cocoa farm tracking, learn about cocoa fermentation, making traditional hot chocolate, factory tour, and making chocolate bar.
