The Coziest Restaurant in Sukawati Village

Welcome to my Blog! In this article i’m coming to you to introduce one of restaurants with authentic recipes  in Sukawati Village. As we know Sukawati Village is well known of its Art Market, located 20 minutes from Denpasar City and 1 hour from Ngurah Rai International Airport. It has a huge number of small stalls that sell any things related to Balinese Stuffs. When you are visiting this Art Market, you must be so tired. The reason why did I write this article is for giving you a recommended place to refresh your body and mind.

Like I’ve said before that I will be introducing you to the Restaurant that located in Sukawati Village, named “Babi Guling Raja” (English : King’s Suckling Pig) located at Puri Ageng Sukawati nearby Sukawati Art Market, Sukawati Village, Gianyar Regency, Bali. Babi Guling Raja is a special menu that offered for the King of Sukawati. With original recipe from The Puri Ageng Sukawati’s member Gung Niang Oka, and now continued by her son to make the taste of Babi Guling Raja will be never changed. It makes Babi Guling Raja is also well known as Babi Guling Gung Niang Oka.

The building is still maintaining Balinese Designs & Architectures, so it shows the authentic of The Restaurant and aslo it shows that the owner doesn’t want to change how the building supposed to be. The restaurant can hold up more than 90 people and there are still a lot of spaces so the restaurant will not be looked that crowd. It is open from 10.00 A.M and close depended of if there is a booking at night, so they can serve you at that time. For your information that the Babi Guling is made directly in the Restaurant.

Facilities

The Restaurant is completed with cozy tables and chairs, nice view, balinese furnitures, balinese traditional instruments a.k.a “Gamelan” so the guest can play and learn about our culture, and the most important thing that this Restaurant is offering a lot of menu’s options. It is also completed with other facilities such as; Toilet and Wash Basin with its amenities, and a large parking area that can hold up around 10 buses (can be equated more than 30 cars or more than 100 motorbikes).

From the Parking Area the guests need to walk around 10 minutes, due to the guests will through a sacred place so they have to wear sarong. You don’t have to worry that there is a booth that rent sarongs and you only have to pay Rp. 10.000/ sarong. On the way to the restaurant, you will see a beautiful scenery and green plants that still treated properly by its owner there.

As we know that foreigners have known if Indonesian People are so friendly to each others, so is the Owner and his family. They are very kind to the guests and will treat you as a family, if you are very lucky your food will be served by the Owner directly.
