born in Adelide, Australia. His parents owned a vineyard and at the same time
his factory near the garden. So since he was a child he had often been
gardening. When in Bali, he wanted cocoa gardening because he was disappointed
because Indonesia was the third country in the world for cocoa producers, but
there was no chocolate production that was truly famous and dominated the world
market, so the idea was to build a cocoa plantation. Toby then asked permission
from his father-in-law who is also the elder of Puri Carangsari to build a
factory on the ground which is also one location with a tour of Bali Elephant
Camp. The small scale factory was built in January 2013. He continued
experimenting for several years. After years of experimenting, finally got
delicious chocolate. And after this hobby went well, then he went on to
business so that the bali pod factory and cafe was created. Until now, the
production capacity is up to 10 tons per month by employing around 100 workers
with emphasis on local residents. To add to its branch, Toby Garritt opened a
branch on Sunset Road Kuta. However, the tour package is not provided in this
branch, but you can still see the process of making chocolate and learning how
to make chocolate.
