Bengkel Village with Many Hidden Tourist Attraction

Buleleng is a regency in Bali province with the capital city of Singaraja. Buleleng regency has many tourist attractions such as other districts in Bali, and there are still many tourist attractions that haven't seen many foreign tourists yet. Bengkel Village is one of the villages which has many tourist attractions that haven’t been widely known by the tourist.

Desa Bengkel ( Bengkel Village ) located in the the district of Busungbiu,Buleleng Regency, Bali. The distance from I Gusti Ngurah Rai airport to Bengkel village is around 2.5 hours drive. Bengkel Village is close with some well-known sub-district areas for the tourist attraction such as Wanagiri, Munduk, Banyuatis (Banyuatis’s coffee). Bengkel Village has many tourist objects that are not widely known by tourists, such as waterfalls, rivers with clear water, terraced rice fields, and some traditions that are owned such as nyakan di wang ( cooking outside of house )  and playing traditional slender. The activity that tourist can do in Bengkel Village are trekking and enjoying some point to see beautifull panorama of Bengkel Village

1.      Waterfall Ceburan Shantipala

Waterfall Ceburan Shantipala is one of waterfall that the local society use to be tourist destination in Bengkel Village. To get waterfall shantipala you should walk around 5-8 minutes because the access to get the waterfall is still cant go by motorcycle or car. Because of the waterfall is still secret the tourist can get free charge to entry the waterfall.

2.      Bengkel`s Terraced Ricefield

Terraced Ricefield is the object that very good to enjoying panorama in Bengkel Village. From ricefields terraced beside you get the good panorama you can see panorama of Bali Sea and seririt district

  

3.      Nyakan di Wang ( cooking outside )

Nyakan di Wang ( cooking outside ) is a tradition that has been carried out by local people from ancient times, this tradition is carried out a day after Nyepi ( Silent Day ) or usual called Ngembak Geni. The community will cook food in the morning around 4-5am in the morning using traditional cooking utensils and lighting with traditional torches, after finishing cooking the comunity will present a dish to God ( Ngejot ). The purpose of Nyakan di Wang is to create a good and harmonious relationship of each other.

4.      Traditional Slender

Traditional Slender is a traditional games that usual played in special day or there are some competition of slender games. The competition of the slender game can be followed by young people to the elderly. And all the participant so very excited. The slender is made by wood and ropes for the the slender’s rope

.

Many more attractions that can be found in Bengkel Village, and still not colonized by tourists. This village is perfect for those of you who want to get away from the crowds and pollution in looking for tranquility, beside that the local society of this village also very humble and welcome with tourist who want to enjoy their day in Bengkel Village.
